Today’s one of those days when I am halfway done with six different blog posts and can’t muster up the drive to finalize any of them.
So I’m dealing with my inertia by doing a check-in; my last balance assessment was on August 24. SPOILER: My September count includes some disappointing stats.
#soul – I’ve written six posts about nourishing my #soul by spending quiet time rejuvenating and by finding meaningful ways to help others. Pretty good.
#mind – I’ve written ten posts about nourishing my #mind by engaging in activities that help me to learn and grow. Wonderful!
#body – I’ve written ZERO posts about nourishing my #body by eating well, getting sleep, and exercising. TERRIBLE.
From the beginning, I’ve noticed that nourishing my #mind is easiest for me. A lot of my favorite hobbies are #mind food – books, crosswords, writing. But I’m pretty committed to exercising, too. I think that I need to broaden my definition of what counts as #body nourishment, so that I can write more expansively and with more enthusiasm and inspiration about this aspect of balance.
